One day LJ got upset at school because the bus was running late to pick him up to go home. It is very natural to be upset as most of the children get excited to go back home after a long day in the classroom.

LJ who was sad decided to lay down on the ground to wait for his bus. A new Assistant Principal, Mr. Smith noticed the boy lying alone on the ground and he decided to give him company. He too lowered himself onto the concrete to make LJ feel better. According to WCMH, another Garfield employee named Amber Mckinniss clicked the picture of the scene.

She told the news outlet: ”It’s really awesome to know from a parent’s standpoint, that there are people that care that much about your child. To get down on the ground, and lay on the ground with them to make sure that they’re alright.”
