A 10-year-old child from Alabama reportedly showed the most intense form of bravery against his own mother’s cruel intentions.
According to reports from local media outlets, the child tried to play dead as his mother allegedly tried to drown him inside a giant bathtub that was full of water.
The suspect was identified as Ashley Elizabeth Jones who continued to abuse her son, time and time again over a period of time. But this final attempt of hers seemed to be the last straw. And if it wasn’t for her child’s bravery, he would not be alive today.
Speaking in detail on this front, he is believed to have shut his eyes and not uttered a sound because he knew if his mother got the hint, that would be his end.
Thankfully, it all worked out well in his favor and despite the huge risks attached, he was not only able to survive but also to bring his mother to justice.
He managed to sneak out of the tub and call up his dad. And the latter ended up calling the cops on her who arrived just in time to arrest her. Now, she will be facing charges of attempted murder as the 10-year-old lives with the haunting feeling of his own turning against him.
