She had just recently ended a ten-year relationship with the father of her two children, so Carrie-Anne was definitely nervous when Bradley showed up to pick her up.

Little did she know that this date would end terribly.

As they were leaving the parking lot, Bradley apparently tried to show off his driving skills by doing a doughnut, which is a driving skill that involves making a tight circle while accelerating.

We hit the tree and I went fling into the windscreen,” said Carrie-Anne in the interview with the Metro.

As soon as the car stopped, Bradley told her that they had to get out of here. However, because her injuries were severe, Carrie-Anne couldn’t move one bit.

According to the doctors, Carrie-Anne would not have survived if not for her seatbelt. Although she hadn’t fastened the seatbelt at the time of the accident, it miraculously ended up around her shoulder to save her life.
