A Woman Shared On Twitter “I Was Raised To Take Care Of My Husband” And Got Trolled Badly

Twitter is a place to share your feelings and ranting about things which you usually don’t like to say openly but sometimes expressing what you feel or like doesn’t go well with others especially when the topic is sensitive.

We are living in the 21st century but some people still are so outdated and living in the old era. But everyone has the right to share their opinion and it is their choice to do what they want as we can’t impose our opinion on anybody.

One college student named Brylea Kay from Texas shared her opinion on woman’s role in a marriage and Twitter trolled her left right and center.

Brylea shared how she was raised and what kind of wife she would be in future. From cooking to cleaning, she shared all the things she would do for her husband, she even called it ‘old fashioned’ but she agreed that how she was raised to be.

She tweeted: “call me old fashioned, but I was raised to take care of my husband,

make his plate every night, wash his work clothes for him, make sure he’s up for work the next morning, always have a clean house for him to come home to, etc.

and that’s exactly wife I will be.’’

As soon as her tweet went viral, the Internet started trolling her and filled her comment section with their opinion.

One woman commented under her post: “I’m a stay at home mom and my husband doesn’t treat me like we’re in the 50’s. He knows he’s a grown ass man who can depend on himself if I do not cook or clean on some days. He doesn’t make demands. Ladies know your worth.’’

“Call me progressive but I would take being single any day over having to raise my husband,’’ wrote another.

“Sounds like you were raised to be his mom,’’ another woman taunted.

But it didn’t stop here as some people went overboard and they wished death for Brylea. She later tweeted and said that their response was so harsh and there were some replies where people wished she’d die, which is, of course, the extremely obnoxious thing to say.
