Most of us think that Snapchat filters will never cause any harm but it turned out that it can backfire horribly.
21-year-old Sasha realized it after sending a photo to her partner Leona. She used the new Snapchat filter to make her appear like a different girl and sent the results to her with a short message: “In your girlfriend’s bed.”
The two have been together for almost one year and Sasha thought Leona would know it was only a joke.
Unfortunately, she didn’t take the joke lightly and replied: “I ain’t coming tomorrow.”
Shocked, Sasha answered: “Huh?”
Leona replied: “Enjoy your night with that girl in your bed”
Sasha said: “What. What girl.” Leona answered: “Goodnight Sasha.”
Sasha replied: “I’m by myself.”
Leona said: “Don’t speak to me again.”
That escalated pretty quickly” Leona then explained that she had received a photo from another girl in her bed. Sasha had to beg her to answer a FaceTime call so she could prove that there was no other girl and she was alone.
But Leona was no longer in the mood to speak with her. “And if this is a joke you can enjoy a weekend on your own.”
Sasha tried to woo her girlfriend multiple times but Leona blocked her. This serves as a warning not to use Snapchat filters for pranks!
Speaking about the ‘hilarious’ experience, Sasha said: “I thought she’d know the picture was me to be honest cause I thought it was obviously but apparently not.
“She made up with me afterwards so all is good now.”
