A woman was slammed by people online after she shared how she makes packed lunch for her boyfriend.
Kiara Wood-Lowe from Australia shared a video showing the lunches she prepares for her partner before he goes to work.
Her TikTok video has gained over 420,000 views but she did not expect to receive a lot of negative comments from other people.
“Boyfriend or child?” one person commented.
“It looks like an 8-year-old’s lunch,” another wrote.
“Get him to pack it himself ffs,” a third said.
“Do you change his diaper too?” someone else added.
While many people criticized her for preparing lunchboxes, others praised her for her thoughtful and sweet gesture.
“I make my husband lunch every day for him to take to work, I don’t have to make it, but I do as I love making his lunch and making sure he’s eating OK,” one person wrote.
“My wife does this for me and honestly, it’s the best thing and I appreciate it,” another wrote.
“I’ve been making lunch for my better half for the past 8yrs now!!! Finding it very hard to understand what is actually wrong with this?” a third said.
In another video directed to ‘all the Karens and negative Nancys,’ Kiara said she makes her own lunch at the same time.
“I enjoy doing the little things that make his day and life easier and he couldn’t be more appreciative,” she said.
“At least then I know he is eating quality food, and will have energy to get through the day because he works hard and he needs quality food not something from the lunch bar,” she said. “I mean they’re great but not practical.”
