An angry woman crashed and interrupted a wedding because the groom is actually her husband.
The groom, Abraham Muyunda, reportedly told his wife that he was going out of town for work purposes before running to the church to tie the knot with another woman.
But thanks to their neighbors, the wife found out about his plans, the Zambian Observer reported.
The furious woman rushed to the church to stop the wedding.
In the viral video, the angry wife and her children marched down the aisle as she shouted: “This wedding can’t go on! This man here is my husband!”
The alleged wife’s outburst and announcement stunned everyone while the groom just looked down and the bride did not show any reaction.
“This man is my husband. We haven’t divorced!” the furious woman expressed. “We never quarreled… I don’t know what is happening here.”
The video ended before the commotion is resolved but according to some reports the groom was brought to a police station and he could be charged with bigamy.
If convicted, the father-of-three could face up to seven years behind bars.
Local media also claims that the bride knew that the groom was already married.
One person commented: “What an awful thing to do to both women! His wife actually saved him from bigamy.”
Another wrote: “The church organ player should’ve played a TV soap opera organ surprise cue the moment the wife made her shocking announcement.”
A third added: “The bride-to-be didn’t seem surprised or bothered so she probably knew he was married.”
