A dog owner was shocked to find the face of the US President Donald Trump in her beagle’s ear when she was checking her dog’s ear canal for any infection.
Jade Robinson shared the photo of the pooch’s ear and the cyst’s uncanny resemblance to the president.
The photo was shared on Reddit where it quickly went viral.
Chief, the 2-year-old Beagle, had developed a cyst after he got some dirt inside his hears.
“As he has the very distinctive long ears, he spends a lot of time scraping the ground sniffing for lovely smells. Unfortunately, this leads to his ears picking up a lot of dirt,” Jade said, The Huffington Post reported.
Jade took photo of the dog’s ear so she could show it to the vet but one of her friends then noticed a familiar face.
Because the cyst was posing problems for Chief, Jade started a crowdfunding campaign to have the beagle treated.
“I’m sure by now you have all seen the photo of our Chief’s ear and had a good giggle! This photo was actually taken for our vet! Chief is a 2-year-old beagle and we have had him since he was 10 weeks old,” Jade wrote.
“This photo had to be taken whilst Chief was asleep as he does not like his inner ears to be touched and I swear I looked/zoomed in and out at this photo over 20 times and NEVER seen Donald Trump!”
“It was my eagle-eyed friend who pointed it out, I thought I would share this but NEVER thought it would be that popular however overnight our little Chief became an internet sensation trending all over social media!
“Unfortunately, as Chief doesn’t like his ears to be touched he now needs to be sedated to start investigations on what is causing inflammation/ irritation and head swinging. This page has SOLELY been set up to help us pay for his vet treatments,” she added.
Chief finally got rid of the infection and he is now a very happy dog.
