Passing gas in public places is usually embarrassing, but not for this woman who did so while waiting in line at a corner shop.
37-year-old Shanetta Yvette Wilson farted loudly at a Dollar General store. She then pulled her knife and threatened to ‘gut’ a customer who complained.
The woman was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without the intent to kill.
Police officers arrested and booked her at a detention facility in Pompano Beach, north of Fort Lauderdale. The bale set was at $2,500.
According to the Miami Herald, cops said she allegedly threatened a male customer, John Walker, when he complained about her fart while they were falling in line together at a Dollar General store.
The arrest report stated that Walker got into an argument with the woman ‘in reference to the defendant farting loudly.’
Wilson then took a knife out of her purse and threatened to ‘gut’ Walker.
The male customer told cops he became afraid he would be killed when Wilson pulled back the hand holding the weapon as if she would definitely stab him with the knife.
The affidavit stated that Walker was “in fear that he was going to be stabbed by the defendant.”
Wilson held the knife in her right hand and acted in a way that she was about to stab Walker, said the police. It is unclear if Wilson has an attorney.
