A woman has recalled the aftereffects of her cosmetic procedure that left her looking like Buzz Lightyear.
Megan Carlisle from the US was in for a big surprise when she signed up for a routine Botox procedure to enhance her appearance only to end up with a deformed-looking chin.
As the young influencer revealed in her TikTok video, her face after the procedure looks normal when relaxed but appears heavily uneven and deformed when her muscles tense up.
“Get botox in your chin they said… wtf,” the 35-year-old wrote as she called the results of the botched procedure her “husband’s worst nightmare.”
The clip quickly went viral with hundreds of people chipping in revealing that a similar thing happened to them as well.
“Mine does that for a couple days before it is fully kicked in. I was terrified the first time,” someone wrote.
“Totally normal looking in the first two weeks while it kicks in! If it stays like this after two weeks you just need more,” another said.
A third added: “Wait this happened to me.. It was scary. It went away after like a week. And didn’t look like that anymore.”
Some people also found the new chin amusing with viewers telling Megan that her chin reminds them of moon craters and Buzz Lightyear.
After her video went viral, Megan came up with an update in which she claimed her chin returned to normal after nearly two weeks of recovery.
“It’s all kicked in, I’m very happy with how it looks,” she admitted in a follow-up clip.
