Being a woman is difficult but what is the most difficult part about it? It is becoming a mother and giving birth.
No matter how beautiful and adorable it may sound and no matter how much happiness it brings, giving birth is the most painful thing in the life of a woman.
Imagine if giving birth to one child at a time can be the most difficult thing in a woman’s life, how difficult would it be to give birth to 6 babies all together, that too naturally?
Well, that is what this woman had to go through. This mom in the US gave birth to 6 babies in just 9 minutes and became the baby delivering champion of the world.
Thelma Chiaka gave birth to sextuplets and she pushed all the babies out between 4.50am and 4.59am on this Friday. She delivered her babies at Woman’s Hospital of Texas in Houston.
All the babies were born healthy weighing between 1lb 12oz and 2lb and 14oz. They are currently in the Intensive care unit.
Hospital shared the news on their social media account with a statement that said that giving birth to 6 babies at once is one in 4.7 billion chances, now imagine what are the chances of giving birth to 6 babies at once in under 10 minutes are?
The statement said “We are happy to announce that The Woman’s Hospital of Texas delivers and look after more babies than any other hospital in Texas and now they have welcomed sextuplets. The announcement was made on Friday, soon after the babies were born.
This set of sextuplets included one set of girl twins and two pair of boy twins. The hospital also announced that the babies were born in a stable condition and are now in the intensive unit of the hospital where they are receiving special care.
