Scams have been widely taking a toll on the general public’s life.
Whether it is a networking scam or petty money scam, fraudulence has become a profession for many.
Recently, a woman wearing Adidas hoodie covering her face wit headscarf was seen yelling at police when she was arrested for an extraordinary child scam.
The woman was arrested along with 20 other mothers and men over an alleged fake daycare center in Sydney.
Police have claimed that Red Roses day Care wasn’t actually caring for any children but was opened only to receive subsidies from the government in the name of childcare.
Detectives were hired on the case which found that nearly 150 parents who fraudulently claimed for Commonwealth rebate (USD 146 per child)
Police today confirmed that 22 people had been arrested for defrauding taxpayers more than USD 4 million.
According to the reports, seven women were arrested on Tuesday, and sixteen others were arrested on Thursday.
A total of twenty-four people were charged out of which two were released with pending further inquiries.
Among these arrested women, there was a woman wearing Adidas hoodie and covering her face with a scarf who started swearing and shouting in front of the officer who was filming her arrest on the phone.
The childcare business looked normal to the onlookers. There was no ounce of doubt imposed on the childcare center.
The business claimed to provide safe and nurturing love to more than 450 children, but police have confirmed that there were only photos of the kids but no actual kids.
Detectives have stated in their reports that the fake childcare center went to extreme heights to prove their scam as real.
During the last year’s fake graduation ceremony, six students were supposedly given mortarboard hats, and adults were rewarded with educator wards.
