Really hard to imagine, what Montoya Major has been through when she decided to pursue her studies for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University in Florida- Nova Southeastern University of Fort Lauderdale.
You must be wondering about the anonymity of the incident, which happened when she gave birth to twins daughters 3 months before been awarded the degrees. Her courses got completed on 16th August.
At the age of 23 years old, she gave birth to her daughters through C Section in 2018 May and resumed her classroom studies within a week.
Though it was not an easy step for her to take, as she was thinking to quit the studies for a time being. However, she decided to continue with her career and began studying sincerely. That made her earn academic degrees for her successful future.
There is a provision of maternity leave for the females in the law and society, but it doesn’t apply to the students pursuing the courses on a full-time basis.
Thereafter, Montoya Major has been awarded the degrees of graduation and post-graduation in August. She has become quite emotional while sharing her achievements with her daughters in the lap, through the social networking site of Facebook.
Stating about few other students with her, she says that she had no idea how she could make it work. As 9 students have already dropped the program in between 27. But her enthusiasm is evident in her pictures clicked with her adorable daughters.
Montoya Major has completed a Bachelor’s degree in cardiovascular Sonography and Master’s degree in Health Science.
During the period of pregnancy, she thought to quit her career for the sake of her duties related to her children. But like a miracle, she could make it work very efficiently.
It was too hard for her to cope up with the pressure of her studies in the college when she was not allowed to take a long leave. Simultaneously, maintaining her motherhood with all the dignity and emotions.
