A Twitter user named Jessi Dietrich shared on Twitter that he once gets a chance to meet a vet and asked him about the worst part of his job.

The vet revealed a sad truth that 90% of the times owners don’t want to be there with their pets in the last moments.

The vet explains that animals can somehow realize and feel what’s coming for them but they panic not seeing their owners with them and this breaks his heart everytime he performs euthanasia.

That’s why he asks people to be there with their pets to say goodbye to them for the last time as they have protected the owners their whole life.

The tweet soon got the attention of many people and they started sharing their experiences with their pets during their last moments.

For example, one of the twitter users, Kinsey wrote, “He screamed when everyone else touched him so I made sure he was happy and I held my boy and he was purring cause I did,”
