Two vile predators were caught on camera attempting to drug a woman by slipping a pill inside her drink while she was enjoying a night out with her friends.
22-year-old Gemma Reynolds from Dublin, Ireland, has spoken out on Facebook and warned women about the danger that lurks around the corner when you least expect it.
As Gemma explained in her post, she was out partying with her girlfriends in Zante, Greece, when two strangers walked past her and slipped something in her drink.
Fortunately, her friend caught the incident on her phone camera and told Gemma to throw away the drink.
“I was in Zante having the time of my life. There were two scumbags who thought it would be funny to pop a pill in my drink,” she wrote.
“Thank God my friends noticed before I drank it and it’s clear on this picture. People can be so vile to ruin someone’s holiday for what?
“I’m just glad I didn’t take a sip after that because my friend wasn’t so lucky and was spiked the first night not only in Zante but even here at home can just be on a night out in town or wherever and it can happen.”
As the woman added in an interview with The Sun, she didn’t know or talk to either of the guys who spiked her drink. In fact, she didn’t even realize they had done something to her drink until her friends told her not to drink it.
“It’s so dangerous so please be careful when on a night out. It doesn’t matter if your drink is in your hand or on the table because mine was in my hand. Just make sure it’s fully covered when you’re not drinking it,” she added.
“Never really thought much about spiking till this happened and makes me sick. Can see how interested his mate was while he was doing it!”
