That’s when the mum texted her neighbor, a professional hairdresser, if she could take a look and fix the ‘mess’ that her son created.

Fortunately, Jen the hairdresser managed to work on Colt’s design and came up with the perfect solution for the disastrous haircut.

While the family couldn’t believe their eyes at first, the parents soon realized the new haircut wasn’t as bad as initially looked – in fact, everyone in the family, especially Breana, came to love it.

According to Michael and Breana, the kids were playing in their room when they suddenly went quiet. Suspecting that something had gone wrong, the parents walked in only to find Colt with scissors in his hands.

“When I saw them I was shocked, but I thought it was funny. I started laughing. My husband came in and he was a little angry at first – until he found the humor in it too,” Breana recalled.

“He was upset at first that his little girl’s hair was now all scattered over the floor. Colt had definitely had a good hack away at her hair, but Jen came to the rescue. I think the hair definitely suits her more now.”

As the mother added, they never let their children play with scissors which is why they were shocked to find them not only stealing the tool but also using it.

“My son was holding the scissors up to Kimber’s head and she was sitting very still and being patient with him while he cut her hair,” Breana added.

“She was completely calm and still and was just letting him do it. We explained that we don’t play with scissors and you could tell Colt felt bad. We had him vacuum up the hair that he’d cut off. I think he’s learned his lesson – he won’t be doing it again.”
