Diagnosed with lymphedema, this woman suffers from large swelling on her legs.

While the serious symptoms have forced her to stop wearing jeans, she refuses to let it cause shame. Meet Ada Thompson, who is just 38 years old! She is in all positive hopes that with her will power she would help others find happiness.
She sings, she dances, and she turns her music on. These are what she has claimed, because of her drastic situation that can worsen with time. Despite the disorder affecting her right side (especially leg), she says that she can get further in her life.
Ever since she was a child, her mother used to take her to the doctors in order to get the answers and help her get better! But it has worsened.
She has reported that her weight has ballooned to around 460 pounds because of the disorder. According to sources, this disorder affects 1 in around six thousand people.
The common symptom is puffiness and swelling in body parts which causes discomfort and tightness. The skin in areas affected become abnormally scaly, dry, and thickened.
Since it’s not a disease, no proper cure is there for this disorder. However, this woman has even undergone surgery when she happened to be 19 years old.
It was done in order to remove the leg’s grapefruit-sized mass! While initially, it improved mobility, the effects eventually wore off!
Now, sometimes she walks with either a walker or an electric chain. And she continues inspiring others by not giving up!
All that she hopes is to inspire everyone with lymphedema, despite claiming that it’s a struggle to suffer from this disorder!
