Teenager Shared A Photo Of Man Asking For Kidney Donor On His T-Shirt

The teenagers these days have been blamed for being unsympathetic and partying all the time.

But one teenager proved it all wrong when he went shopping with her friends at Arizona’s local Costco supermarket. Karen Aguayo was casually buying stuff when she saw a man in an aisle.

That man like any other individual in a supermarket was shopping for groceries. But there was one thing that separated him from the others. This was the reason why he drove Karen and her friends’ attention towards him.

It was the T-shirt that the old man was wearing. The moment Karen saw what was written on it, she decided that she had to do something about it.

The man was named Robert Duran and he was 67 years old. He and his wife were used to the attention they gained owing to their t-shirts.

They ignore the weird looks that they receive and are happy to talk to anyone who comes forward and inquire about their t-shirts.

The T-shirts look nothing different from a usual one. A pure black color with white text on it. But when you carefully read what’s written on it, you are bound to be touched.

Robert and his wife had been waiting for someone like Karen to come up to them and provide them help.

Robert is suffering from kidney failure and is on dialysis thrice a week. Each session lasts more than 4 hours. Robert was placed on a waiting list for organ donation when he was diagnosed with stage 5 chronic renal failure.

Karen took the guy’s picture and uploaded it on her social media account. She wanted to leave no stone unturned in helping Robert find a donor.

Even Karen didn’t know what would happen next but surprisingly, her post was shared over 260,000 times.

When the matter was searched further, it was found that there are over 2100 people in Arizona who are waiting for organ donors. Most of these are waiting for a kidney transplant.

For Robert, the wait for a perfect match is more agonizing than the dialysis sessions that he has to go through. Every time a phone rings, Robert and his wife’s hope rises.

Robert has given the title of a ‘saint’ to Karen for the amount of help she has provided to him. Robert believes that the Lord sent Karen to him.

Let’s hope Robert finds a donor soon and starts living a happy life again.
