People Skipped Fireworks In New York So Their Dogs Wouldn’t Get Scared


July 4th is one of the holidays in New York where the dogs do not enjoy the most as the fireworks can be a nightmare for them.

The pups around do not have any way to escape the loud noise by the fireworks. The dogs suffer because of these noise phobias as it scares them and makes them react in a terrible way.

Recently on the 4th of July, one shelter came forward to help all the homeless dogs be comfortable during the holiday. The veterinarian Marty Becker said that the dogs get in such a panic state that they even run through the plate glass windows.

During these fireworks, the dogs think that they are going to die because of them, and that’s why they keep doing crazy things to save themselves.

The Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) say that it is a new tradition on the 4th of July to help the dogs calm down as there is nothing more important than kindness in the world.

Last year at the same time, more than 300 people from the local community gathered in the shelter to calm the scared pups.

The development director of the shelter, Ben Swan, said that it is just great to see how the community supported for helping the puppies and also it is essential to spread the news so that more people gather around to help the scared pups during such times.

All the people had different ways of calming the dogs because some people sang, some read books to them while some just sat around them, giving them treats.

There were people of all age group in the shelter to help the dogs stay comfortable during the holiday. The best part was that these people bonded with the dogs for a long term bond.
