According to the reports, the area where the two sisters were dropped off by smugglers is an “often-used crossing point by unaccompanied migrant juveniles.”

The heartbreaking instance takes place only a day after a smuggler was caught on camera scaling the border wall with a 7-year-old girl on his back.

After climbing the wall and descending on the other side, the smuggler dropped off the young child and left her all alone before climbing back and making a getaway.
