To help more dogs get adopted, the bosses have decided to make a difference not only by posting their pictures on beer cans but also by dedicating profits towards the creation of a new shelter.

The move was made possible thanks to the cooperation between Motorworks and the local Shelter Manatee.

“Partnering with this month’s cause, Shelter Manatee, we are excited to release an exclusive ADOPTABLE DOG Cruiser Kölsch 4-PACK,” the brewery announced on Facebook.

“Proceeds go to Shelter Manatee to help build the new shelter for our less fortunate four-legged friends.

“The dogs featured on the can will be on-site ready for adoption alongside several more puppers-in-need plus raffles, silent auctions, drink specials, food trucks & local vendors. #adoptdontshop”

Besides dogs’ pictures, each can also comes with a brief description of the dog on the photo and their personality traits to encourage beer lovers to adopt.

According to ABC Action News, the mission appears to be working whereas a few dogs have already been adopted thanks to the innovative cans.

Sadly, however, the shelter is getting overloaded with more than a dozen animals allegedly coming in on a daily basis.

“It has been a constant problem, being the county’s only open-admission shelter, we take in nearly 15-20 animals every day,” Hans Wohlgefahrt of the Manatee County Animal Service shared.

Hopefully, more dogs will get adopted thanks to the beer cans and a new shelter will pop us soon.
