The leftist supreme court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg came into an agreement on Friday that she will put a temporary administration hold on Democrats, to receive access into the financial records of the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
This move was made by Justice Ginsburg after Trump requested the country’s highest court to put a temporary hold on the two subpoenas for his financial records from House Democrats to Capital One and Deutsche Bank, respectively.
According to CNBC, the Trump application was submitted to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, since she is assigned to the 2nd Circuit.
However, the CNN supreme court reporter Shimon Prokupecz has provided information that the order given by Ginsburg said that the court will need more time in hand before deciding whether or not they will block the House subpoenas in the process.
In a separate report, the CNBC always provided with information that the materials, which were sought by the committees contained the records of transactions, investments, and accounts that are linked with Trump and his three oldest children in the process.
The records were also linked to his children’s immediate family members and several organizational entities of Trump.
On the other hand, the Financial Services and Intelligence committees have declared that they are currently on the verge of performing an investigation on the money laundering crimes.
The President of the United States has strongly denied any type of wrongdoing from his side.
The move made by the Democrats came into the picture where they continuously impeached him on the July 25th phone call that was made to the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Due to this call, the Democrats have made claims that Trump performed a quid pro quo with Ukraine, by suggesting an aid from the US military towards the nation was unforeseeable after Ukraine opened up investigations into Joe Biden, the Democrat presidential candidate.
However, despite the allegations, there were multiple witnesses in the public impeachment hearing.
The witnesses were Ambassador Gordon Sondland, Ambassador Kurt Volker, Senior NSC Official Tim Morrison, and Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch. They have testified together and denied the quid pro quo between the two Presidents.
