Before we reveal the answer, here are some hints to set you on the right track. Follow PEMDAS/BOMDAS to get to the right answer. Don’t forget that multiplication has a higher priority than addition.
Furthermore, keep in mind that there are 2 cupcakes in the final equation. It’s easy to make a mistake there!

To solve this puzzle, let’s first presume that L stands for a lollipop, C for a cupcake, and P for the pie.
Now we can get to business.
LINE 1: L + L + L = 6, therefore 3L = 6 and L = 2. This means that the value of a lollipop is 2.
LINE 2: C + C + L = 26, therefore 2C + 2 = 26 and 2C = 24. This means that the value of a single cupcake is 12.
LINE 3: C + C + P = 35, therefore 12 + 12 + P = 35 and P = 11. The value of the pie is 11.
LINE 4: P + 2C x L = 11 + 24 x 2 = 11 + 48 = 59.
