Jake, a Pit Bull mix shares an amazing bond with its owner Bill Lindler, the man who rescued him.

Lindler evacuated him from an ablaze fire shed when Jake was only three weeks old. The entire of incident took place in South Carolina Fire Department.
75% of Jake’s body suffered severe burn injuriously. This included his paw pads as well. The moment Bill found him, Jake was indeed in a dire condition. Subsequently, he was taken to the local treatment center for getting treated accordingly.
Jake’s real owners found the entire treatment expenditure to be a bit expensive. Hence, they chose to abandon him. But this little cherub was lucky enough to have a compassionate owner.
And the good part is, Jake has now himself become a firefighter after he suffered such a hideous fire injury. And from the time Bill had adopted him, they have become the best of friends.
Luckily, this Pit Bull has recovered its injuries within a very short span of time. Hence, he now holds quite a responsible position in the Fire Department.
His mere job is to go to schools and train kids about protecting themselves on emergency fire incidents. Not only this, you will be all the more astounded to know that he even has his own badge.
The entire story began as a tragedy but turned out to be an inspiring story for all of us. And Jake was indeed destined for something else. And so was Bill.
This duo was to be each other’s best buddies for the entire lifetime. And hopefully, after coming across the entire video you would exclaim that ‘dogs are man’s best friends’.
