While an adult passenger will understand the importance of keeping attention while you drive, the kids don’t always get it and so the parents are often distracted and then they take their eyes off the road to tell their kids to behave.

The National Transport Commission of Australia is in the process of drafting a new set of rules to change the ones that came into action back in 1999. Those laws empowered a driver to get distracted.

The new set of rules that are coming up will allow the driver to use GPS and voice control on their phones while they are on the drive as the experts say the previous laws were not compatible with the new emerging technologies like smartphones.

GPS is a technology of need these days but this does not mean you will be allowed to text your friends or call them while you are on your way in the vehicle. Also, neglect doing it to maintain your safety in the first place.
