A couple lost their 7-month-old baby after the child was left in the balcony for 5 hours and froze to death.
The family living in Nikolayevsk-on-Amur, the Eastern part of Russia, is in grief right now.
The mother of the child said that she had taken the baby to the balcony to let it have some fresh air which is a very common practice in the region according to the media report.
The mother said that while she was sitting there, she needed something from inside so she went in and then forgot to come out again.
She completely forgot that her child was sleeping in its pram outside in a very low temperature, 19 degrees Fahrenheit.
The poor child who could not even call out for help died after freezing.
The health ministry of the region is now requesting people to be more attentive.
The ministry is asking people to keep a check on their child every minute of every day.
The parents should be aware of where their child is and with whom the child is.
A parent should always have their child’s protection at the priority at their mind and should never turn a blind eye if any other child is in need of help or in danger.
The advisory of health advised parents to make sure their child is safe at all times targeting the negligence this couple had paid towards their child and how it ended with the child gone due to freezing in temperature as low as 19 degrees.
It is time we start taking more care of the people that depend on us for their life rather than just concentrating on ourselves.
