Prince Harry and Meghan Markle melted people’s hearts after they visited the sister of a teacher who tragically died in a school shooting.
Irma Garcia from Texas saved her young students by sacrificing her own life during the Robb Elementary School shooting in May 2022.
Only two days after the incident, her grieving husband, Joe, died from a broken heart.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex surprised Irma’s family, who could not believe how the royals were so ‘loving and supportive.’
Irma’s nephew, John, said that Prince Harry and Meghan surprised his mother with a birthday cake, with videos showing the duchess smiling while holding the desert.
“Meghan Markle singing my mom happy birthday was the cutest most adorable thing ever, she even bought her a cake,” he wrote.
Speaking to Hello! Magazine, John expressed his shock by the visit. “It truly meant the world that Harry and Meghan showed up to visit the family, there were lots of tears of joy and heartfelt moments.
“They were the kindest most humble people ever, it was like having family and friends over having an amazing time together they fit right in, we laughed a lot and shared intimate memories together.”
He also took to social media and wrote: “MEGHAN MARKLE AND PRINCE HARRY CAME TO MY HOUSE!?!?!?! They’re such a beautiful couple and I’m so blessed, so glad they came to check up on the family.”
