The rise of AI can be beneficial in many places but it’s causing a stir when it comes down to deep fake images that are hard to differentiate from reality.
Think along the lines of images of the Met Gala featuring celebrities who never attended but their pictures circulating online of what they would look like if they went.
The matter shocked celebs who never attended like Rihanna who was down with the flu and therefore could not make it, aborting the plan at the last minute. And that’s even though a lot of people were looking forward to her dress which already attained a lot of hype.
But when the image of the star popped online, so many were beyond confused as to whether or not she went because they didn’t see her but the images proved otherwise.
The same was the case with singer Katy Perry who says she was busy working but would have loved to have attended the grand fashion program of the year.
But the images of her in attendance even confused her mom who rang her up to ask if this was real or not as last time she checked, she was not going.
