First Official Photos Of The New Gringotts Wizarding Bank Attraction Have Been Released


The first official photos of the new Gringotts Wizarding Bank attraction have been released online and it looks really amazing.

The new attraction to the Warner Bros Studio Tour London, which includes the banking hall and the Lestrange vault, will officially open to visitors in April and from the pictures, it seems the attraction will be worth another visit.

The pillar-lined main banking hall where three crystal chandeliers are hung, the goblin-protected bank will offer visitors the opportunity to explore Bellatrix Lestrange’s vault, which can be seen full of galleons, sickles, and knuts.

The new bank was built by many of the original crew from the films, including Stuart Craig, who won a BAFTA and an Academy Award for his production design skills as well as the movie’s head prop maker Pierre Bohanna.

The 16,500-sq-foot attraction will also feature the costumes and prosthetics used for the goblin bankers, each of which took weeks to make.

The visitors will also be able to ‘enter the depths of the Lestrange Vault used to store the treasures of Bellatrix Lestrange including the Sword of Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff’s Cup, one of Voldemort’s many Horcruxes’.

Ahead of the opening, Warwick Davis, the actor who played Griphook, and James and Oliver Phelps, who played the Weasley twins, visited Gringotts. He unveiled the new attraction and was joined by James and Oliver Phelps, who played Ron’s twin brothers Fred and George.

He said: “I spent a lot of time here as Griphook and it’s great to see the Studio Tour bring the original set back to life.”

“I know visitors will love discovering the details of the goblin prosthetics and the Lestrange vault for themselves and there are more exciting additions to be revealed.”

The attraction officially opens to the public in April.
