She said she was not worried about the virus because the virus hadn’t spread much in Indiana yet.

However, after contracting coronavirus, she felt like she was dying. She was rushed to the ER after her health deteriorated.

On March 22, she received a call from the hospital. She said: “I remember seeing the hospital’s number on my phone and thinking, “Why would they call me this early if they weren’t delivering bad news?” I picked up immediately.”

She thought she might have infected her entire family and was worried about her twins.

Her mother took her two kids with her for two weeks while Jasmine and her husband stayed at their home.

After she started getting better, she decided to get back to work but she was sent back home. She was told she would have to get two negative COVID-19 test results before coming back.

They sent her to a testing center and after eight days, she tested positive again for COVID-19.

Jasmine is now more worried about her twins as she is due to give birth on June 10. She says she has no clue if the twins will be born healthy.

She said: “At this point, I feel like I’m walking on eggshells. I have no clue how this virus will affect my twins.”

“Before I even got sick, the little girl had already been diagnosed with heterotaxy syndrome, meaning her organs have developed on the wrong side of her body. But we won’t know what that means for her until she’s born.”

Despite being told the babies are healthy, Jasmine is fearing for their lives as she still has three months left.
