But as investigations take place to determine the reason why the tragedy arose in the first place, more shocking details from the final moments of the ship are now being unveiled.

Many questions continue to arise in the minds of the authorities including how the frantic pilot made a mayday call to have the huge vessel turned around as he felt it would strike. But still, no attention was paid in regards to that matter.

Terrifying footage shows lights from a construction site on the bridge flickering, moments before the horrific collision arose. At the same time, vehicles traveling across the bridge are also seen.

Sources are speaking about how the vessel went through a complete blackout period as per reports from one industry expert. While the reason for the failure is not clear right now, it is mentioned how several backup generators kicked in.

Despite that, the ship’s propulsion system continued to be offline and the pilot ordered the vessel to be turned around with the port anchor dropped to slow the ship’s pace down. He feared for the worst and told the command tower to close the bridge for traffic as he knew what might occur.
