Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have welcomed their first child on May 13, TMZ reported.
According to reports, the singer – who was last spotted out in public on May 9 in Santa Monica, California – gave birth to a baby boy but the name of their little bundle of joy hasn’t been revealed yet.
A source told People that the singer is resting with her baby in their Los Angeles home.
“Rihanna is doing well. They are very excited to be parents. Rihanna is already a wonderful mom,” the source said.
This is the first child for both A$AP and Rihanna, who have been romantically linked in January 2020 after her split from Hassan Jameel.
There are speculations that they secretly tied the knot or got engaged as A$AP wore a ‘Marry Me’ grill in music video for DMB while Rihanna sported a red wedding gown and veil.
Earlier this year, Rihanna announced her pregnancy as she stepped out with her beau in Harlem, NYC.
The expecting mom looked happy and proud as she showed off her baby bump while wearing her hot pink jacket that exposed her tummy.
The singer told Vogue’s May 2022 issue that her pregnancy didn’t slow her down.
“None of the dials are turned down. I think I even say yes to more now because I know it will be different on the other side of this. At first I expected some magical change, but really I remain who I am,” she expressed.
The singer, who also has a lingerie brand and makeup line, will have to juggle many things now that she’s a mother.
“Balance is one of my biggest challenges and always has been. And now there’s another human being coming into play, it changes what that means again,” she said.
“Still, I have businesses that aren’t going to run themselves. My mom handled the three of us with not even close to the amount of resources that I have, so I can absolutely do it.”
