Think along the lines of a wedding that includes sharing your big day with your mother-in-law. Yes, the latter would be tying the knot too and this bride says she certainly did not sign up for this package. Now, she is claiming that the stress is bugging her and it’s ruining relations and the fun that comes with wedding planning.
Moreover, she’s getting upset at her husband for feeling this behavior is all right when it’s simply not. “This is the biggest night of my life. How or why does this man feel it’s fine for us to get married, right next to his mother who is tying the knot for the second time, she exclaimed.
Therefore, she’s not getting expert advice on the subject and people are having their say.
The Reddit platform where the story was shared had plenty of individuals talking. Some spoke about how it was a major red flag while others shed light on some of their own stories, including the great many sacrifices that married life comes with.
But this bride says she’s got zero tolerance and intentions of tying the knot on the same day as her mother-in-law. “Who does this? It’s like stealing the spotlight away from her”- another person continued.
