The Pakistan Air Force managed to shoot down a third Indian Rafale fighter jet, this time located southwest of Awantipora, which is nearly 17 nautical miles from that location. This marks the third Indian warplane downed by the Pakistan Air Force in the ongoing escalation.

Pakistan’s Information Minister shared how the country had every right to defend itself against threats after India chose to target civilian locations for no reason.

The minister reiterated that Pakistan seeks peace and stability in the region but will not compromise on national sovereignty or security. The incident took place at about 12:40 am when radar systems detected the Indian aircraft making an unprovoked incursion into the Pakistani territory.
