Many compared the new shoes, which are dubbed as ‘Sulfur’ Trainers by the brand, as something too flaky. Moreover, they felt it resembled failed bakery products like pastries that had gone wrong.

Priced at a staggering $238, many couldn’t help but wonder what the rapper and his design squad were thinking behind the launch. And what’s really interesting is how the flaky design was launched in May and now the brand Yeezy is looking forward to feedback from the public regarding the design.

The uniquely looking show is colored yellow and comprises an inner sock with a casing. And it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the appearance is like a pair of shark’s teeth. But others couldn’t see past the thought of it resembling uncooked pastry and even cold slabs of butter.

There were also some who felt it best-resembled foam-themed banana sweets while a few others went as far as revealing that it was like Italian pasta.

However, the funny and unique replies on the design didn’t stop there. There were even some leading chefs of the pastry world going as far as mentioning how the shoe resembled two giant sausage rolls, something that was a little short of reaching the multipack category.

Clearly, many people were thinking of food instead of shoes after giving this creation a look.

The collaboration is a joint production between Adidas and Kanye West’s renowned fashion company. And while the Yeezy producer is known for his unique designs, this one clearly fails to deliver and doesn’t identify with the masses. Do you agree?
