Iran Holds World Hostage By Shutting Down Access to 20% of World’s Global Oil and Gas


The Iranian parliament is not getting much love at all for holding the world hostage after shutting down a key shipping route.

Iran confirmed yesterday that its parliament has approved the shutdown of the Strait of Hormuz in a move that might see the world thrown into a complete disaster.

The decision that was made to shut down the Strait, through which 20% of the global oil and gas demand flows, was yet to be final yesterday but now it’s confirmed that this is the decision being taken by the nation.

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council shared how it was in charge of making this final call on the matter, as the US urges China to put pressure on Iran to rethink the decision.
