Sometimes, we don’t even realize that a small act of negligence can cost us our or our loved one’s life.
But, sometimes we are in a hurry or so lost in our thoughts that we don’t pay attention to such small things that can have dangerous outcomes.
The same thing happened to a mother of a little baby girl. On March 22 of this year in San Andres de Cholula, Mexico, a woman left her baby unattended in a hot car. The mother left the baby in the car to have breakfast with her friends in a shopping center.
After a while, the little girl started feeling uncomfortable and her face went red. That’s when a passersby saw the baby and tried to block out the sun as the windows of the car were all shut.
Thankfully, strangers managed to locate the baby’s mother in a nearby cafe before it was too late, as reported by Telivisan.NEWS. When she arrived at the scene, the mother was shocked and worried for her little baby.
People started insulting her by saying how careless she is. The mother was embarrassed as she approached the car to take her child out of the car. People started capturing the incident on camera.
The mother asked for forgiveness and pleaded not to record the incident on the camera as she was already embarrassed.
In the video, one of the witnesses can be heard saying: “Poor baby, she’s so red,”
“Stupid mother, take your baby with you,” another one says.
When the mother was comforting her baby, another one can be heard saying you are the “mother of the year”. After the incident, people tweeting with the hashtag “mother of the year” (#MadreDelAño) accompanied by images. The whole incident is on camera and has been going viral since then.
Some people found it wrong to share the footage online as the mother has the right to anonymity. However, others believe that it is a lesson for all those who leave their children or pets inside the hot car unattended. So, it should be shared as a warning.
