We all get excited when we think about the Christmas, and we plan many things to celebrate the festival with full of joy. Everyone wants to celebrate the festival with their family and friends but there are some people who are not lucky to do that.

The Christmas “Spirit” is felt by men and women all over the world. It is not limited to any one faith. No matter where you go in December, it is not unusual to see the holiday colors of red and green, and it is not unusual to encounter the holiday values of generosity and kindness.

That’s why one Muslim restaurant owner decided to do something on Christmas that has the Internet talking, in a good way.

There is a Muslim-owned Turkish restaurant in London that has exemplified just such values this Christmas season. Hasan Masud owns a popular restaurant called Shish that specializes in Turkish cuisine.

He recently put up a handwritten sign about Christmas that is downright unusual for most businesses trying to rack up all the Christmas season sales possible. The sign, in fact, went viral because, in a time of divisiveness, it is calling for unity, kindness, and generosity.

The sign read: “No one eats alone on Christmas Day. We are here to sit with you.”

It went on to invite the homeless and the elderly to a lavish 3-course meal that was completely Free of charge. And as you can see from the picture below, the special guests are in for quite a meal.

Hasan Masud said, “We’re just helping people, lots of people stay home alone for Christmas… They don’t need to. They can come here and have some fun.”
