Mother Called Out The Name Of Her Son After Waking Up From A 27-Year Coma

A dream has finally come true miraculously after waiting for 27 long years. The 32-year-old Omar Webair waited for this miracle and prayed for it for many years.

In 1991, when Webair was just 4 years old, he got an accident. But, his mother saved him, he survived because he was in protective arms of his mother, Munira Abdulla.

27 years ago a bus crashed into their vehicle and Webair could injure or killed at the moment. But when his mother saw the bus coming, she holds him in her arms and used her own body to keep him safe.

After the accident, Webair just had a bruise, but his loving mother got a serious injury in the brain, so she went into a coma.

Dr. told him that It’s hard to get out of the coma, but, Webair never lose hope and he knew that he will speak to his mother one day.

“My mother was sitting with me in the back seat. When she saw the crash coming she hugged me to protect me from the blow,” Webair told The National. “I never gave up on her because I always had a feeling that one day she will wake up.”

For three decades, he was visiting in the hospital to meet his mother, and finally, that day came when his mother woke up.

“To me, she was like gold,” he shared with The National. “The more time passed by, the more valuable she became.”

According to WebMD, the prognosis for coma patients varies, it is difficult to recover in this kind of brain injury that Abdulla suffered, in such a case, either human is disabled or he never wakes up.

Even with the worst situation, Webair didn’t stop hoping. Then finally he got good news that his mother calls his name.

“She was making strange sounds and I kept calling the doctors to examine her,” Webair explained. “They said everything was normal. Then, three days later, I woke up to the sound of someone calling my name.”

“It was her,” he continued. “She was calling my name. I was flying with joy. For years I have dreamed of this moment, and my name was the first word she said.”

Webair said he wanted to share his mother’s story because it will give hope to others who are facing the same situation. He also shared that Abdulla is now able to communicate and even pray with him since waking.
