A mother was left upset after finding an aggressive note stuck to her car following a trip to the local supermarket.
As a mom known as ‘Inferno Insomnia’ on TikTok revealed, she went to a supermarket with her young kids only to get bashed for leaving her car in a parking space for parents.
According to the upset mother, a stranger left a passive-aggressive on her windshield while she was shopping with her kids at her local supermarket.
“Please do not park in parent parking if you do not have kids,” the note read. As the mom explained, however, it is obvious she has kids because there’s a child seat in her car.
“Your registration and vehicle has been reported and also given to center management,” the note added.
“In future keep these parking areas available for those who need them for everyone’s safety, not for your convenience.”
As the mother said in her viral TikTok video, she’s not sure what she could do to make it even clearer that she has children and that she is allowed to park at parking spaces for parents.
“Now I know you can’t really see this because of the window’s reflections but if you see in the window of our car you can clearly see a child’s seat and children’s beanies,” she said.
“So do I need to put one of those stick figure family stickers on my car to prove I have children?”
After her video went viral, the mother received lots of support from fellow TikTok-ers who reassured her that she didn’t have to do anything else and that the person who wrote the note was in the wrong.
“They were obviously on a high horse because those parking spots are a courtesy and it’s not illegal to park in them without kids,” someone suggested.
“Centre management would’ve laughed at them, they can’t enforce that rule,” another one said.
