She Suffers From An Incurable Disease.. But When She Meets Him, A Miracle Happens!


Every parent you meet will tell you that they would do anything to keep their little ones safe and sound.

Sadly, however, there are certain times when there’s nothing you can do to help, such as diseases that we have not found the cure for. One of them is called the Morquio syndrome, a rare genetic disease that attacks the bones.

And Bella’s parents had to find out that their 2-year-old had this terrible disease just when they celebrated her birthday.

Those with this disease unfortunately suffer from a variety of health issues, causing their life expectancy to be shortened than that of the others.

As a result, when her peers were learning how to walk, and soon playing on the playground, Bella had to learn how to move with crutches and a wheelchair.

As you can imagine, Bella’s parents, Rachel and Ed, were devastated when they found out about Bella’s disease. She was going to have to go through 30 to 50 surgeries throughout her life.

Despite such hardships ahead of them, a small miracle happened for Bella in 2015.

It was George the Great Dane.

The first time they met each other was when Bella and her mom went to the service dog project to find a companion for her.

Weighing at about 131 pounds, George was the only one who paid attention to this little girl with crutches.

And, they instantly found comfort from one another.

Now, Bella doesn’t have to use her crutches, because George is there with her every step of the way.

She says, “He helps me walk.” She also added, “I lean on him like a crutch!”
