Do you remember early Christmas morning when you were just a young kid and you were all excited to find out what gifts Santa left under the tree that year? Of course, not everyone’s Christmas was glamorous but everyone can remember the excitement of rushing to the tree and seeing their gifts.
That’s about the best way I can explain this mother’s reaction. Because she truly went from normal to completely losing control within mere seconds when she figured out what this little surprise was!

In the video that was posted on January 6, 2017 we can see the mother who is dressed in a bright pink hoodie with “Myrtle Beach” written across the top of it. She seems to be having a completely normal day, but all that is sure to change when her daughter and daughter’s partner call her over.
The daughter hands her a small black ball. Really, you can’t really tell what it is. The mother cannot figure it out either. Her daughter, wearing a smile, excitedly tells her, “You should open it.”
The mother looks confused for a quick second, but decides to do it. She walks over to the kitchen table and sets the mysterious ball on the table. She’s still not quite sure if this is some sort of a prank, or something else. She’s initially cautious but still curious enough to keep going.
Someone off-camera jokes that it may be alive, but her daughter quickly assures her that it’s not. She returns to opening it.
As she begins to unfold it, the object quickly takes shape and it appears to be some sort of shirt. She continues to unravel it, but she still isn’t sure what is written on the shirt. It seems like some sort of lettering, but it needs to be unfolded more.

As this mother realizes this isn’t some cruel prank, she speeds up and within a matter of moments, she has the full thing unwrapped. Unfortunately, the shirt is out of view, but we can see that the mother is reading and processing what she’s seeing and then all of a sudden she jumps up and starts screaming.
We as the audience still haven’t seen what is on the table, as the camera focuses on the mother constantly yelling “Oh my God!” as the camera holder attempts to keep her in focus. We still aren’t quite sure what’s going on, but it appears that the screaming isn’t out of fear, but instead excitement. That’s when the mother runs to her daughter and gives her a massive hug.
What was this mysterious black ball? Why has the mother reacted like this? Well when the camera decides to pan back to the table where we can finally read what it says.point 139 | It turns out that this was an incredibly cute pregnancy announcement.point 198 | The shirt says, in big green letters “Player 3 has entered the game.point 260 |
” It’s a bit nerdy, but line references old classic games that featured splitscreen, where other people could jump into a game simply by connecting another controller.point 153 | Their “player 3” was going to be their newborn baby in just 9 short months.point 226 |

You can tell by this mother’s reaction that she had been waiting for a granddaughter for quite some time and a whole new chapter has been opened for her. She cannot wait to help her daughter through her pregnancy and then meet her very own grandchild for the first time.
