McDonald’s April Fool Prank Had People Fuming


From the influx of the weird news and stories on the social media platforms, the day was quite evident to be 1st of April.

However, it is not just similar to any other day, but it is the April fool day.

It is well-known as the year when the PRs also break their necks in order to pull the wool over the eyes of everyone.

And for the fast-food eatery, McDonald’s, it also planned a prank. The eatery which has recently ‘launched’ the McPickle Burgerhas included the mounds of gherkins and not meat patties owing to the importance of April fool.

However, the gherkin-fans now have been fuming and craving for the same food. Now that they already know that it was just a joke, they are calling for the food to get introduced by the eatery as soon as possible.

Australian social media account was introduced with the video of the burger. And the company address to the ‘pickle lovers’ that the food is what they have been awaiting so long.

They have taken the pleasure of announcing their much-awaited burger, thebrand new burger in the name of McPickle Burger.

For the ‘pickle lovers’, it is now time to tuck inside the flavorsome and juicy pickles which will be layered between ketchup sauce, melted cheese, and the toasted seed buns of sesame.

The company claims that its new launch will definitely be a treat to all foodies’ senses. Soon after the post was seen by the pickle lovers, they quickly popped up with messages that they would not be able to wait for this delightful offering.

However, the company also posted that the burger will soon get unavailable after April 1. After finding the true story, some of the fans were crushed, as the offering wasn’t real.

The ones who don’t have much interest in gherkins responded positively, nevertheless.

However, the company had to resolve this problem for their long-term customers who also happen to be lovers of pickles. So, in response, the company has stated that they are glad that Australians have enjoyed this joke.
