The message printed on the card was addressed to the boss stating that he is sorry for his (employer’s) loss, and this has given people over the internet a nice tickle on their bellies.

His colleague shared the images of the condolence card on Twitter.

Inside the letter, the man named Sam had printed – My last day at work is 28th July and the text written on the card read – thinking of you at this difficult time.

Hannah, the colleague who posted the image on Twitter, said that the card was to a great extent taken in good spirits. Everybody was pretty much entertained with the card as everyone was laughing. She said that while some people will think of this gesture by Sam as a petty reaction, it was done in good spirit.

Sam’s manager received the card directly from him, but needless to say, the rest of the employees got to read it along with hundreds and thousands of others have done now too.

One of the users wrote after reading the card that “she is officially deceased.” As people replied to Hannah’s tweet, expressing their amusement, some of the users revealed that they had seen similar things before.

Well, this is something that you will never think of doing to the organization and employer you work for. However, we believe that after Sam’s bold step, we will be seeing more of the stuff like this to quit their jobs.
