Our canine friends do so much for us.
They give us good company, greet us when we get back home and are also the first line of defense for us.
We generally reward them by giving them treats or taking them on walks or picnics, but we can never completely pay them back for what they do for us.
But that’s not the case with the owner of Maya!
Maya is among the most blessed dogs to ever exist. Her owner David regularly takes her for running and hiking, and she has also got her very own cozy cabin in the backyard.
The cabin, where Maya currently resides, was made by her owner, who also owns Fencing Decking Specialists NI in Northern Ireland.
David has a quite tough and demanding routine but he manages to take out time to take Maya out around the locality. But sometimes he is very busy and can’t accompany his little friend for long periods of time.
When David is not around, Maya likes to walk around the backyard and spend time in her adorable cabin.
The thoughtful owner decided to make a comfy house for the dog as he was concerned about her having no cozy place in the backyard.
What Maya got as a result of David’s hard work is an absolutely adorable, cozy and comfortable little dog house.
The dog house has all the amenities a canine can ever dream of. It has a fenced yard, a flower bed and a mailbox for all the letters she’s going to get from her admirers in the locality.
Maya’s cabin has an insulated floor to keep her feet warm all day. It has plenty of covered and open area for her, along with a night light.
To give Maya a clear line of sight, David has made her little home at an elevated level so that she can entertain herself with the stuff going on in the streets.
When David is not around, Maya can enjoy the day looking over the streets and the nights counting stars.
While some people think David has done way too much for Maya, the man thinks it is what she rightfully deserved.
Speaking about Maya in an interview with the Dodo, David said: “She is a loyal companion and I am trying my best to make her life as enjoyable and comfortable for her as I possibly can.
“Building her a comfortable little home is the least I could do.
“I believe dogs have a short time on this earth and we all must strive to take as much care and give them as much love as we can.”
