Dancer Lost Her Hand While Boating But Still Holds Courage And Positive Attitude


Some times a few incidents change our life not only physically but mentally as well.

Watch courageous Sita who lost her hand and is pursuing her aim

Kristie Sita hails from Vancouver Canada was on a holiday with her friends and she was chilling out on the water when suddenly a rope attached with gas or air entangled her hand.

When she tried to pull her hand she fell in the water.

When she got consciousness she asked for help and raised her left hand she was shocked to see that her left hand was missing and there was everywhere in the water.

She was then airlifted to hospital for further treatment where her hand was stitched and it was treated by wrapping the palm.

After some time her hand was seen on the water and was tied with rope.

She was a high school graduate and got her graduation degree in June 2014 and after that went to Ruby lake on the sunshine coast in British Columbia.

Where they had planned for tubing and Sita always wanted to do it.

It is an activity in which the persons who love to thrill just skid across the water and they do it on an inflatable donut which is called tube.

She got her degree one year early so that she can pursue the career of dancing which she always wanted to do.

She did a workout even before going to the tube and even clicked a picture of the bicep of her left arm but she had no idea this will be the last picture of her arm.

Then Sita went for a tube she wanted to get the tube but had no idea that this incident will happen with her.

When she asked for help she was shocked to see that her left hand was not there then was taken to British Columbia’s children’s hospital in Vancouver.

When Sita was taken for surgery she asked if she was going to die and the answer she got was no.

Then she asked if she will dance and doctors replied yes. This yes gave her a ray of hope.

Her hand was taken to hospital for amputation but doctors showed concern over paralysis so it was not reattached.

Her parents were shocked to see her without hands and she had continuous meetings with doctors and therapists.

Her missing hand gives her courage and she dances in a different way and teaches the people on Instagram.

Being an amputee doesn’t imply that she cannot do anything but her life is filled with more passion.
