Krispy Kreme Will Be Giving 12 Free Donuts To Class Of 2020 Graduates

Because of the social distancing and lockdown restrictions put in place to fight COVID-19, high school and college graduates from all over the United States would, sadly, not be able to have a customary graduation ceremony.

So to raise the morale of the class of 2020, Krispy Kreme has announced a sweet treat for them.

Krispy Kreme has announced that they will be giving away “Graduate Dozen” donuts on Tuesday, May 19.

To get the free treat, the graduates are required to wear their graduation cap and gown or any other gear that shows that they belong to the class of 2020 to any Krispy Kreme outlet throughout the US.

Chief Marketing Officer Dave Skena said in a press release: “We feel for all of the high school and college seniors.

“We wish they had that moment of walking across the stage and getting their diploma, we can’t replace that … but we thought we could help them safely have a little fun and enjoy a special ‘Graduate Dozen’ on us.”

Different institutes around the country have come up with a number of alternatives, such as drive-by parades and virtual celebrations via Zoom, in place of the typical graduation ceremony for the class of 2020.
