Joe Montana Saved His 9-Month-Old Grandchild From Kidnapper Who Crept Into Their Home And Tried To Run Away With Baby


Joe Montana and his wife saved their 9-month-old grandchild from a kidnapper who crept into their home in California.

The horrifying incident occurred around 5 pm on Saturday.

Authorities said to TMZ Sports, 39-year-old Sodsai Dalzell sneaked into the Malibu home through an unlocked door.

Dalzell then found the sleeping baby and took her from her playpen.

Fortunately, Joe and Jennifer found the intruder and confronted her right away. They asked the intruder to return the baby but a physical fight eventually started and Jennifer managed to take their grandchild away from Dalzell.

The kidnapper fled the scene but was detained by Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department deputies who were in the area for another matter.

Dalzell was charged with burglary and kidnapping.

The NFL legend took to Twitter to thank people for their messages. “Thank you to everyone who has reached out. Scary situation, but thankful that everybody is doing well. We appreciate respect for our privacy at this time,” he wrote.

One internet user commented: “Horrific. This is another example of why we need the police.”

Another said: “Joe Cool. Greatest quarterback ever. Bar none.”

A third added: “How brazen is that!? I’m so glad they reacted quickly before she could do any harm or get out the door with the baby.”
