It is when you nurture them; your kid develops the right skills.
This is exactly what Joe Wahle’s parents thought when they motivated their son to continue to draw, even after he kept getting into trouble for his doodling during the class.
His parents sent him to an after-school art school, and his abilities were soon noticed by the people around him. Later, Joe was invited to decorate the dining room of a famous restaurant, Number 4, located in Shrewsbury, England.
This nine-year-old is popularly referred to as the Doodle Boy and created his own websites and social media pages. On these dedicated platforms, he shows off his unique arts.
News reporters spoke to Greg, Joe’s dad, about the artistic abilities of his son.
According to his dad, Joe always enjoyed drawing and was added to the Gifted register in the primary school at the early age of four.
Greg also informed that his twin brother Jesse was also registered in the same school. He further revealed the time duration that it took Joe to complete his piece on the dining room wall at the restaurants.
The 9-year old talented boy spent around 12 hours decorating the wall with his doodles.
Greg also had some advice for the parents to motivate their kids to kindle their natural talents. He said that it is important that parents should encourage their kids to follow their dreams and passion.
When kids get in trouble for showcasing their skills at school, most parents try to get rid of that behavior. But it can also be seen as a great opportunity to identify the talent of your kind and provide him or her with creative space to grow.
