James Holzhauer Faces a Tough Game and Loses His $2 Million Winning Streak

Champion James Holzhauer loses his winning streak in the evening episode where he earned $1,991,135 which was his toughest game.

Alex Trebek who is the host of the show said that before one and a half month ago the record of one-day winnings was $77,000. The record has been stood for many years, and now James lost his winning streak on the show.

James was scoring more than the average winning streak, and he just owned the game. He was in a match with the technology consultant from New York, Nate Scheffey.

James did beat Scheffey and became the legend on the show. Nate lost in the Daily Double Game and was left with only $25,800 when the game came to the Final Jeopardy portion.

Till that point, James earned $31,200, and then he took his winning till $52,108. After that, he and his rival answered the question correctly, and James left his opponent with only $35,800.

James performance and quick answers impressed everyone as he was on his way to break the winning streak. He became the legend in the game, and he was on his way to the three-quarters when it came to challenging the epic 2004 run of Ken Jennings.

In the game, Ken got $2,520,700, and James was till $530,000 as Ken was unbeatable throughout the game. Though he played really well he wasn’t able to beat Ken in the game.
